Hush Train grew up on the streets, in the back alleys and backroom speakeasies, where they perfected their high-energy, fast-paced show for discerning Chicago audiences. Made up of some of the finest up-and-coming performers in the city’s vibrant music scene, the members of Hush Train are brought together by a collective love of R&B and Soul, both old-school and new.
Driven by their desire to bring late-night audiences something new and unexpected, Hush Train has developed a repertoire that transcends the usual bland stand-by’s that so many other cover bands seem to rely on. Drawing from each members’ favorite R&B and Soul hits (and even some lesser-known shoulda-been-hits), Hush Train’s eclectic song selections are sure to appeal to any audience. (Sometimes Chris even sneaks in a Springsteen tune when no one’s looking.)
Hush Train takes a different approach from most other cover bands out there by often pulling from actual live performance recordings and footage from original artists and recreating those performances with flawless precision. The result is an unparalleled live music experience, offering audiences a chance to see their favorite artists ‘live and in concert’.
